After a long negotiations with 3w blogging management, I have received finally received blogging status. I'm not tenured, or so says Zev, but it's a start - perhaps akin to being a Harper fellow? I would say shechiyanu, but Jake Sasson would probably send me a nasty email in response to saying a bracha lebatala.

Well, there goes the neighborhood.
Welcome Aboard, Dan!
Smuli, I think Dan may have gone to more tisches than you at 3W and is therefore in some sense more qualified to be a correspondent.
I was thinking about all the time he slept on our couches.
Which Dan is this?
Without a doubt it is Dan Levy.
With the proliferation of blogs I guess it was only time before the standards dropped to let eveyone be a blogger. Next thing you know apt3w will start letting women blog! (that was for miriam) What happened to the days when people were content with their role and satisifed with commenting?
I dont know about shechiainu but I hear there are people who say hallel (some with a bracha) on all sorts of "occasions" so why not mark this day on your calendar and say hallel every year on that date. Remember, if it falls out on Shabbat or Friday, you have to move the celebration as per the gemara on...... (when you find it let me know)
